About the department:

The Finance Operations Centre of Excellence plays a critical role in servicing our clients and providing key financial information for customers and stakeholders. Finance Operations owns the end-to-end Record to Report and Source to Pay processes. This includes defining the processes, managing the outsourced relationship/activities, and owning the control environment, including engagement with external audit. The Finance Systems and Change team own the Finance Systems strategy and roadmap, as well as providing all finance system administration and incident management services.

About the role:

The incumbent of this role will work closely with colleagues and key business stakeholders to support the Allocations and Transfer Pricing process, helping to ensure operational objectives are met. As the onshore Team Lead for Allocations & Transfer Pricing, responsibilities will include working with colleagues both on and offshore to deliver appropriate monthly cost and revenue reallocations across the business, as well as the forward-looking transfer pricing planning process, ultimately ensuring quality and delivery of insight and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and challenge the monthly actuals cost and revenue TP process and subsequent output.

  • Review and sign off on monthly reconciliations and other key controls.

  • Oversee all steps involved in running the allocations and TP process, including any amendments made.

  • Manage rule or driver updates with effective process and controls in line with Finance control policy.

  • Support Allocation and Transfer Pricing projects impacting the Cost and Revenue process.

  • Lead the Transfer Pricing Plan yearly process, providing insightful data and analysis when required.

  • Manage stakeholders through the monthly process, effectively communicating material movements and answering queries on the reallocation output.

About the candidate:

The Cost & Revenue Allocations Lead will require a strong financial and analytical background, and be qualified with a recognised professional accountancy qualification (or equivalent).

  • Ability to leverage market perspective when interpreting and communicating data.

  • Excellent analytical ability with good attention to detail.

  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise, accurate, and effective written and verbal material/messages according to the needs of the audience.

  • Strong application of IT skills, including the ability to construct and interpret financial models using Excel, and awareness of digital technologies.

  • Demonstrates credibility with stakeholders through relationships, communication, influence, and confidence.

  • Takes personal accountability for quality and delivery, possesses good time management skills, and is a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
