Description
About TOPOSOPHY

TOPOSOPHY helps destinations, cities, and cultural organisations rethink the future of places and experiences. We work with governments, DMOs, tourism boards, global brands, and international institutions such as the European Travel Commission, Mastercard, and UNWTO.

Our projects span place branding, tourism campaigns, cultural activations, urban development strategies, and smart city platforms. We don’t just follow design trends — we create meaningful experiences that shape how places are perceived worldwide.

About the Role

We are looking for a UI/UX & Visual Designer to join our Marketing & Events team in Athens.

This role blends digital product design with visual storytelling. You’ll design user interfaces for websites, platforms, and dashboards, while also creating compelling visuals for international campaigns, events, and reports.

You’ll collaborate with senior designers, developers, marketers, and strategists to deliver work that is intuitive, visually striking, and globally visible. On smaller projects, you’ll own the full design cycle — from concept to final delivery. On larger ones, you’ll support senior team members and gain mentorship in data visualisation, design systems, and client-facing delivery.

This is an opportunity for a designer who wants to grow beyond execution into strategic design with international impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design user-friendly, responsive interfaces for websites, platforms, and dashboards.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas.
  • Create digital assets and visuals for campaigns, reports, and cultural projects (social media, presentations, infographics, microsites).
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and ensure design quality across all outputs.
  • Support user research and usability testing with guidance from senior team members.
  • Contribute to design systems, data visualisations, and interactive storytelling projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, strategists, and marketers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Stay up to date with design tools, UI/UX trends, accessibility standards, and best practices.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX, digital, or visual design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user interface design, visual creativity, and storytelling ability.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools (Adobe XD, InVision, Marvel, or similar).
  • Experience designing for responsive web and mobile.
  • Solid understanding of typography, colour, layout, and composition.
  • Experience creating visual assets for digital campaigns (social, display banners, infographics).
  • Willingness to learn and apply data visualisation, accessibility, and design systems.
  • Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and openness to feedback.
  • Bonus skills: motion design (After Effects, Lottie), basic HTML/CSS knowledge, or GIS/data visualisation tools.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary and private health insurance.
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile international projects in tourism, culture, and sustainability.
  • Mentorship and career development from senior design team members.
  • Hybrid work model (office & remote flexibility).
  • Professional equipment allowance.
  • Access to professional training and design resources.
  • A creative, multicultural team environment with real autonomy and responsibility.

What you need to know about the Edinburgh Tech Scene

From traditional pubs and centuries-old universities to sleek shopping malls and glass-paneled office buildings, Edinburgh's architecture reflects its unique blend of history and modernity. But the fusion of past and future isn't just visible in its buildings; it's also shaping the city's economy. Named the United Kingdom's leading technology ecosystem outside of London, Edinburgh plays host to major global companies like Apple and Adobe, as well as a growing number of innovative startups in fields like cybersecurity, finance and healthcare.
