Walmart’s AdTech team is developing one of the largest and fastest-growing retail media platforms globally. Leveraging extensive shopper data and scale, the team creates innovative advertising solutions connecting brands with millions of customers. The work involves addressing complex challenges in real-time bidding, machine learning, data processing, and user experience. The team emphasizes collaborative engineering, continuous improvement, and technical excellence to deliver scalable, reliable software. Members engage in full lifecycle development, integrating AI/ML components, and driving product strategy to shape the future of retail advertising with a focus on quality and impactful outcomes.
What you'll do:
 
  • Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Integrate AI and ML components using APIs to enhance software capabilities.
  • Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure software quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor application performance and support continuous integration and delivery practices.
  • Mentor and contribute to engineering best practices and innovation strategies.
  What you'll bring:  
  • Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
  • Strong experience with full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and maintenance.

  • Proficiency in debugging, code review, and defect management to ensure high-quality software.
