Job Description:

 We are seeking an experienced Unix Engineer to join our team, providing critical support and expertise for IT infrastructure, application infrastructure, and related services. This role will involve working on-call and supporting a range of high-profile clients. Due to the nature of the work, you must hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance. You will work across the entire lifecycle of deals, from planning and implementation to troubleshooting and de-installation, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and industry best practices such as ITIL.

Key Responsibilities:

 Operate and manage one or more critical technology areas, such as server administration, security management, and performance management.

 Provide advanced technical knowledge and solutions to meet customer and IT infrastructure needs.

 Monitor and ensure compliance with patch management, security policies, and configuration management.

 Incident & Escalation Management:

 Independently resolve cross-technology incidents.

 Lead and manage escalations, including up to L5, ensuring resolution of complex technical issues.

 Problem Management & Change Implementation:

 Proactively identify potential issues and work towards preventative solutions.

Review, implement, and verify high-risk changes to meet business and technical requirements.

Patch, Security, & Configuration Management:

Ensure environments are compliant with security policies and patch management.

 Maintain an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

 Project Management: o Lead or participate in IT infrastructure transformation projects.

 Collaborate across internal and external teams to deliver superior solutions. • Teamwork & Leadership:

 Act as a key resource within the team, offering guidance and support on technical issues.

 Lead operational process improvements within the team and across functional areas.
