At Bolder Apps, we partner with fast-growing startups and global teams to build products the AI-native way. We scale engineering teams with top talent, automate development workflows, and deliver clean, production-ready solutions — faster.
Our culture is built on ownership, innovation, and smart use of AI tools to move projects forward with confidence.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who combines strong visual taste with a deep understanding of user behavior. You’ll design clean, intuitive experiences for web and mobile products, working closely with engineering and product teams to bring ideas to life.

This role is perfect for someone who loves turning complex problems into simple, beautiful interfaces — and wants to build modern products at startup speed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create polished, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma (and similar tools).
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to continuously improve UX flows.
  • Work closely with PMs and developers to ensure smooth handoff and pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems and reusable UI components.
  • Stay current on UI/UX trends, AI-driven design practices, and modern product patterns.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in modern design tools — Figma (primary) and/or Sketch.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design, usability principles, and accessibility best practices.
  • Strong grasp of responsive and adaptive design patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate smoothly with product and engineering teams.
  • Nice to have: Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS or front-end development concepts.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and impact.
  • Hybrid work format — join us in our Tashkent office near the metro or work remotely when needed.
  • Flexible schedule with core communication hours aligned to New York time (15:00–23:00 Tashkent).
  • Direct collaboration with US-based teams, giving you exposure to global product standards.
  • Work with modern, AI-powered tools and a forward-thinking engineering culture.
  • Zero micromanagement — we trust you to own your work and deliver real results.
  • Career growth opportunities for proactive and ambitious teammates.
  • Supportive team culture with knowledge-sharing, team-building events, and an open mindset.

What you need to know about the Edinburgh Tech Scene

From traditional pubs and centuries-old universities to sleek shopping malls and glass-paneled office buildings, Edinburgh's architecture reflects its unique blend of history and modernity. But the fusion of past and future isn't just visible in its buildings; it's also shaping the city's economy.
