We’re seeking a future team member for the role of ‘Vice President, Trustee & Depositary Manager I’ to join our UK Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Completion and implementation of internal monitoring for all Funds, ensuring that work is completed in accordance with the departmental procedures and to the required regulatory standards
Conduct regular service reviews, quality assurance assessments of offshore team, ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs and KPIs
Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation in line with regulatory expectations
Plan, manage and develop team members, by formatting training and development plans, using coaching skills where necessary. Set objectives or Key Areas of Responsibility. Appraise performance against objectives
Act as focus for all internal and external compliance/audit inspections involving issues relating to pricing, investments, audit production, report and accounts, distributions and administrative activities
Responsible for ensuring that all high risk and complex administrative tasks, requiring depth of experience, are handled correctly and efficiently
Drive forward operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust/OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and to increase quality and quantity of output
Promote a strong risk-aware and control focused culture within the team
Provide support to the wider UK Trustee & Depositary teams as required
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Extensive experience within Trustee and Depositary, Fund Administration or Asset Servicing
- In-depth knowledge of FCA, CASS UCITS and AIFMD regulatory requirements
- Proven people management experience within an operational or oversight environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
