About this role

Team Description:

The Business Management & Specialist team, part of the Taiwan Wealth team, partners closely with relationship managers, a wide range of business stakeholders and leaderships to ensure solid business operation and growth.

We are the center of BlackRock’s Wealth business in Taiwan, assisting sales head in driving business execution across a group of competent relationship managers. As the heart of the business, our duty spans across strategic initiatives, business coordination & governance, functional specialties, as well as providing specified client support in a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Lead the BM & Specialist team and assist Head of Taiwan Wealth in ensuring proper governance in business-related items, including smooth execution of client strategy, budget, client campaigns, efficiency and compliance to internal process / regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain close connection with regional Chief Operating Officer (COO) teams across areas such as management reporting, budget control, sales compliance, etc.

  • Partner with some of our key stake holders in functions such as product development, marketing, investment teams, and capital markets to implement cooperate strategy.

  • Participate in the progress on full spectrum of client pipelines including mutual funds, managed accounts, onshore / offshore ETFs, as well as some of the most interesting, creative initiatives that are at the forefront of the wealth management industry and bring impact to business growth.

  • Represent team Taiwan along with Head of Wealth, voicing up in committees, working groups and projects, with delegation in place.

  • Provide support to country leadership where necessary.

Requirements:

  • English proficiency, able to work in an English language environment.

  • SITCA licensing (Senior Securities Specialist or Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Professionals) is required.

  • At least 5 years of experience in wealth management / asset management industry. Experience in strategic projects and cross-team coordination are strongly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, good at communicating, coordinating and presenting.

  • An organized, positive mindset with curiosity to uncertainties and changes.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity about SITE financial inspection

  • Experience as people manager is preferred.
