You thrive in solving complex challenges - whether it's navigating M&A due diligence, offshore structures, or transfer pricing. With a proven ability to lead, you’ll mentor a small team while building strong relationships across the organisation. Your communication and influencing skills will make you a key voice in shaping our financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the month-end close and management accounts reporting processes for the Group, including consolidated financial statements with analysis and commentary.
  • Ensure effective financial controls are in place, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage the business audit and statutory accounts reporting process, including preparation of technical accounting papers.
  • Oversee the companies’ tax affairs and compliance, including new tax requirements and jurisdictions.
  • Report on revenue and sales forecasting in collaboration with sales and account management teams as part of the Operations Board.
  • Manage cash forecasting, cost planning, and reporting to cost centre owners.
  • Advise on bid/tender reviews to ensure alignment with the business’s commercial goals.
  • Work with the Operations Board to ensure consistent commercial messaging and improve financial outcomes aligned with the business strategy.
  • Handle budget preparation, control, and finance systems management, ensuring smooth integration of new businesses into Netsuite.
  • Provide technical accounting support on policies, judgments, and estimates.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in driving financial outcomes while managing a wide range of finance functions.

Why you? Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of accounting policies and IFRS.
  • Experience in SaaS/Tech or PE-backed businesses is preferred.
  • Knowledge of M&A due diligence and offshore/transfer pricing is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and resolve key issues effectively.
  • Experience preparing financial statements for statutory audits.
  • Proven leadership, with experience managing and developing a small team.
  • Skilled at building relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a proactive approach to leadership.

  • Career development pathways tailored for your personal and professional learning within 2i, giving clear direction for your career with us
  • 26 days of annual leave + the option to buy and sell holiday (up to 5 days)
