We're looking for a strategic, growth-minded leader to drive expansion across the UK, CEE, and broader European region. In this the high-impact role reporting to the VP of GTM & Planning, you'll build and execute go-to-market strategies and partnerships that fuel subscriber and revenue growth.
As the VP of GTM & Partnerships Marketing, Europe, you're curious, collaborative, and attuned to the region's media, business, and pop culture landscape. You'll serve as a key advisor to leadership and lead a passionate team focused on growing our fan base across Europe.
Core Responsibilities- Lead go-to-market efforts across Europe, from Crunchyroll's owned platforms to important partnerships.
- Translate regional strategy into country-level plans across content, product, marketing, and partnerships.
- Shape mid- and long-term growth plans based on market insights, balancing focus and investment to maximize ROI.
- Manage media spend and funnel strategies, collaborating with Paid Media and Regional teams.
- Drive alignment across Business Development, Content, Product, Marketing, and Partnerships.
- Inform product and content strategies with local insights to meet audience needs.
- Guide local partnership efforts from both a marketing and GTM lens.
- Support major launches, campaigns, and strategic deals with telcos, retailers, and payment providers.
- Build and execute full-funnel campaign strategies, in close collaboration with Lifecycle, Content, and Regional Marketing teams.
- Manage top-of-funnel media investments and test campaigns to reach growth goals.
- Lead implementation of regional growth initiatives and ensure smooth execution.
- Build business cases, set KPIs, and measure the impact of regional growth activities.
- Report on performance and go-to-market efforts, identifying areas for improvement and opportunity.
- Use data and regional insights—like local holidays or market behavior—to optimize campaigns.
- Work with Strategy and Finance to shape subscriber targets and growth planning.
- Consolidate marketing performance across territories for a regional view.
- Organize and lead Europe's Regional Growth Summits.
- Be the go-to for Sony, third-party partnerships, and vendor GTM relationships in Europe.
- Lead and mentor a team of Partnership Marketers and Go-to-Market Strategists.
We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our London office.
About You- 15+ years of experience in global roles across entertainment, tech, media, or gaming; experience with anime, OTT, or subscription models is a strong plus
- Experience with the European media and entertainment landscape, especially the "Big 5" (DE, FR, UK, IT, ES) and key emerging markets
- Established network of partners, vendors, and freelancers across Europe
- Strategic thinker with the experience to translate our vision into actionable plans
- Experience in digital media, including developing and closing complex, multi-faceted deals or partnerships
- Strong financial modeling, pitch deck creation, and business plan development skills
- Marketing experience supporting large-scale or complex partnership initiatives
- Previous experience in Partnerships or Business Development is a plus
- Success working in distributed, teams across time zones and cultures
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and collaborate across U.S. time zones
