The Workday Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Workday development and implementation, specifically by serving as the primary liaison between the People & Culture (P&C) teams and the Workday technical team for two critical domains: Absence & Time, and Talent, Performance & Skills. This role would benefit from; exceptional analytical capabilities, and a working knowledge of the Workday HCM platform. The Business Analyst is responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements, supporting solution design, and ensuring the successful adoption of Workday capabilities aligned with Keywords Studios' P&C and operational strategies.

The role will report into the Workday Product Owner directly but will be deployed to support different SKU leaders as projects require different periods of support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Solutioning: Partner with P&C, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for the Absence, Time-Off, Time Tracking, Talent, Skills, and Performance modules.
  • Design Support: Support the functional leads and technical teams in the design and configuration of Workday solutions, ensuring best practices are followed and cross-functional impacts are mitigated.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Support the development and execution of testing strategies (unit, system, UAT) for new features, configurations, and Workday releases related to both time/absence and talent processes.
  • Change Management: Support the education of end-users and ensure effective change management for new functionality and process changes.
  • Roadmap Support: Assist the functional leads in defining the multi-year Workday roadmap, focusing on achieving tangible near-term results for both Absence/Time and Talent/Performance.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Human Resources (HR) functional role with exposure to technology systems.
  • Experience with Time systems and performance management systems is preferred.
  • Experience of Project Implementation is preferred. Knowledge of how to map business requirements to technical workbooks is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and translate end-user needs into scalable, system-minded solutions.
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
