Description

The world doesn’t need giant media organizations to tell every story. The world needs millions of creators. People who are brave enough to share their own stories, create their own art. To educate and inspire the world.

We’re working to help every creator earn a living and help companies find the right content creators to work with.

Modash is the starting place to create sponsorships for thousands of creators every month. We help creators find their voice and be visible for brands to find them. Modash platform helps iconic consumer brands scale their partnerships with online creators. We’re looking for a full-time in-house YouTube Content Creator to help us grow faster.

Requirements

We want to create the world's best video resources for influencer marketing managers. We're looking for an "In-House YouTuber" to take the lead on it.

Whatever you need to make best-in-class videos, you'll have. Strategic support, feedback, an editor, help with cameras, recording space, quality equipment. We have venture funding, strong product-market fit, 1,500+ customers, and strongly believe in content. is already a big part of our business, and with your help, video will be too.

To be a great fit for this role, you should have subject matter expertise on the brand side of influencer marketing, and an interest in creating video & teaching others.

What you will do in this role:

  • Be the face of our content by appearing on-camera, delivering engaging, educational, and creative videos to our ICP (B2C influencer marketing managers).
  • Plan & write compelling video scripts: you'll be the person responsible for planning & scripting video content. 9 times out of 10 you'll have a blog post as a starting point, but you'll need to adapt it to suit video format.
  • Provide feedback to editors by ensuring the quality of video content. While you won’t be directly editing, you’ll know what good editing looks like and will give valuable feedback to maintain a high production standard.
  • Engage with the community beyond video creation by staying active on LinkedIn (a bonus!) and potentially other platforms to build a connection with your audience and share your expertise.
  • Continuously improve by researching trends in influencer marketing and video content, identifying ways to elevate our content strategy, and helping the company stay ahead in the creator economy.
Benefits

What we’re offering

  • A career-defining role. In two years, there will be nobody in the influencer marketing world who doesn't know your name. If you want it, you'll be one of the biggest personal brand in our industry.
  • A motivating and competitive environment and mindset to help you become successful.‍
  • Flexible working hours ⏱. We trust you to do your job, without anyone looking over your shoulder. Do your best work whenever it suits you.‍
  • Unlimited paid vacation time 🌴. If you’re happy & well-rested, you’ll do better work. Take the time you need to enjoy a balanced life.‍
  • Fully remote working 🏠. As long as you have a reliable internet connection, we want you to work wherever is best for you. At home, in a café, on a beach. Whatever works.‍
  • Personal development 🧠. When you grow, we benefit. If there’s a course, book, or conference that will help you upskill – we’ll cover it.‍
  • Ownership 💡. You’re the expert at what you do, and so you should have the flexibility to make decisions and take action quickly. No unnecessary red tape. Got an out-of-the-box idea? You’ll have the autonomy to go ahead and try things that you might not be able to at other companies.

Who we’re looking for

While prior influencer marketing and content creation experience is required, character and personality are equally important. We’re looking to understand what you have done in the past that has made you successful (work or not-work related). Having excellent ‘soft’ skills like communication, relationship building, and organization are important. Here are some things we’d love to see:

  • Experience in influencer marketing, (brand side). Bonus points if you have some evidence of teaching others. For example: posting on LinkedIn, being a team lead, public speaking, podcast interviews.
  • Experience making videos, with a preference for long-form (YouTube). If not, TikTok and Instagram experience is also valuable.
  • Ability to write a compelling script. You're the person responsible for planning & scripting video content. 9 times out of 10 you'll have a blog post as a starting point, but you'll need to adapt it to suit video format.
  • An eye for what good editing looks like. You won't need to edit yourself, but you'll direct an editor, share ideas, & give feedback to make sure the final productions are as good as they can be.
  • Curiosity and empathy. Continuously learn & improve. Give & receive feedback. Deeply understand our ICP and how we can help them with video content.
  • Ambition. We are high achievers. We want to find others who set their bar high in life. You aspire to overachieve in everything you do. (Work related or not.‍)
  • Get-it-done attitude. We all run into roadblocks every day. We’re looking for someone who can find solutions, motivate themselves, and keep getting things done.

You should be excellent in English, written and verbal. Our team is distributed across many countries, but we work & collaborate day-to-day in English.

You’ll be working remotely in a distributed team and collaborate closely with Ryan, who is the Head of Marketing, so it’s important that we can collaborate asynchronously. We heavily prioritize candidates with strong writing skills.

And a little more about us...

Founded by a high-school dropout and a Canadian (yes, we’re also shocked it’s going so well), Modash is building a suite of tools that help brands scale partnerships with online content creators.

1000 companies like Google, Wolt (Doordash), Bolt, and Nord VPN use Modash to find, analyze and monitor social media creators.

We have some very big customers. Some have already changed the world. But many of them are just starting out. Modash is their first customer acquisition channel and we help make their missions come to life, in our small way.

We’re a profitable company. We’re also backed by the best investors in Europe. Including , Change Ventures, and a group of Europe’s top founders.

We’re a small team and we’re just getting started. You’ll work with people who have done everything from building solar cars to hanging out with Metallica and Bon Jovi.

Folks who have seen the inner workings of companies like Amazon, Veriff, Pipedrive, Yes, and the burning man of startups - Pirate summit. Come be great and do great things and make great stuff and create great memories while making a great impact. Do it.
