The role involves leading product marketing strategies for climate offerings, developing go-to-market initiatives, and enabling sales teams to enhance ESG adoption.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious digital marketing manager to join our global marketing team. In this role, you will help to create strategic marketing strategies and campaigns aligned to our climate and nature offerings. You will also lead go-to-market strategy for new launches, develop compelling product narratives, and equip sales teams with the tools they need to grow adoption of Morningstar's ESG and Climate research, ratings and data. The position offers an excellent opportunity to make a real business impact for Morningstar Sustainalytics.
Responsibilities• Provide strategic input that reinforces company's' climate & nature leadership position in Sustainable Finance solutions, including multi-channel marketing campaigns, competitive product marketing strategy and comprehensive sales enablement systems that guide effective client conversations and drive pipeline.• Monitor and maintain awareness of global trends and the changing Sustainable Finance policy and regulatory landscape and adapt programs accordingly. With a focus on climate strategies.• Partner with Product, Research and Methodology, Sales and Client Success to develop a holistic perspective across our solution set with a view to drive market segmentation and analysis, understand target segments and needs, define ideal customer profiles and personas, identify emerging market segments, prepare market and solution forecasts.• Ensure marketing strategy and programs are consistent and integrated with global priorities and growth objectives, and the broader marketing strategy and plans.• Track metrics for the business that offer insights to guide strategies for brand positioning, client retention and development, pricing, product innovation, industry partnerships, and methods for attracting new business.• We are looking for a strategic thinker that has hands on capabilities.
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field• 10-15 years professional experience within B2B financial services. Ideally some of which has been within sustainable finance and/or investing.• Experienced in working for large global companies within a matrix structure.• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization, including executive stakeholders.• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high growth environment with high degree of autonomy.• A high energy individual with a positive, pragmatic / can-do attitude and passion for sustainability.• Strong writing, editing, and communications skills.
