We are on the hunt for an experienced, detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our energetic Service Delivery Team in Madrid. You will be instrumental in evaluating as-is business processes with in-country stakeholders, conducting data analysis, defining requirements, and collaborating to deliver innovative to-be solutions for improved operational, and work efficiency. ( 12-month job Opportunity)
AI-First Role — Core Capability Requirement
This role requires demonstrated, hands-on proficiency in AI tool usage and prompt engineering. The ability to construct precise, effective prompts for large language models (e.g. Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GPT-4) and to combine those outputs with Python-based data analysis is central to the job.
Responsibilities
Map and document current (as-is) business processes using structured workflow diagrams, BPMN notation and process narratives, in collaboration with in-country operations stakeholders
Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis using Python and Excel to identify inefficiencies, root causes and improvement opportunities
Leverage AI tools — including large language model (LLM) interfaces such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot and equivalent platforms — to accelerate requirements gathering, process documentation, gap analysis and solution design
Design, construct and maintain a prompt library: well-engineered, tested and versioned AI prompts that encode business logic for repeatable analytical and operational tasks (document summarisation, data profiling, requirements drafting, root cause synthesis)
Design future-state (to-be) processes and validate them with stakeholders before handover to IT or operations delivery teams
Build and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, transformation and reporting to support ongoing process performance measurement and KPI tracking
Define, baseline and monitor KPI and metrics frameworks to measure the impact of improvement projects and report findings to the Continuous Improvement Manager
Produce clear, structured requirements documentation — Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process specifications — suitable for IT or delivery team consumption
Liaise with country stakeholders to gather requirements, validate process outputs and support change management activities
Support the Continuous Improvement Manager and Business Solutions lead in maintaining and executing the improvement pipeline; flag blockers and escalate risks proactively
Identify and communicate automation opportunities where Python scripting or AI tooling can eliminate manual, repetitive work
Stay current with developments in AI productivity tools relevant to operations and process improvement; bring forward practical adoption proposals
