Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Telford Head Office Based

Permanent, Full-Time role.

Salary : £26-35k per annum (dependant on experience/skillset)

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Analyse data to provide impartial commercial insights and recommendations.
  • Help the business interpret data to deliver the most accurate information to decision-makers.
  • Support the integration of data into business tools.
  • Acquire and maintain data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring accuracy and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyse data using common statistical techniques, delivering reports with recommendations.
  • Support the implementation of databases, data collection systems, and strategies to optimise quality and efficiency.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.
  • Cleanse and filter data to maintain integrity.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience as a data analyst or in business data analysis.
  • Knowledge of data models, database design, and data mining techniques.
  • Strong SQL skills (Python knowledge is a bonus but not essential).
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI (or similar tools).
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to all areas of the business.
