We have a new Business Analyst role available to support transformational projects across claims operations, collaborating closely with claims handlers, senior management, and cross-functional teams. The role requires a level of technical analysis and operational subject matter expertise, process optimisation, and strategic transformation. The Business Analyst will contribute to efficiency savings, solution design, and the development of sustainable claims process solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear and comprehensive business requirements for transformation initiatives
- Project Delivery Support: Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to support testing, training, and implementation activities.
Build local process maps and conduct journey mapping to optimize internal processes and enhance the customer/claims experience
- Collaborate with claims handlers and stakeholders to analyse and optimise local processes and transformation strategies
- Maintain accurate reporting on efficiency gains, task allocation, and claims savings resulting from transformation initiatives
- Assist with solution design plans and determine if further discovery investigations are needed
- Build sustainable claims process solutions in cooperation with senior leaders
- Map and optimize internal processes to support target operating model (TOM) goals
- Engage with third parties and other functions to ensure operational synergies and lean processes
- Support feasibility studies to establish opportunities
- Work with EMEA teams on change management and process adoption.
- Maintain effective communication with all levels of management
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure analysis deliverables adhere to PMO frameworks, templates, and governance standards.
- Learning & Development: Actively seek coaching, feedback, and mentoring from Senior and Principal BAs to enhance professional growth and technical skillset.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of BA tools and methodologies across the EMEA Claims PMO
- Professional experience in business analysis or project management, preferably with claims knowledge
- Experience in lean and 6-sigma methodologies
- Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
- Experience with data analysis or visualization is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior management
- Analytical thinking and excellent numerical understanding
- Ability to independently develop strategies and deliver ambitious goals
- Experience working in international insurance and matrix structures
- Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel as required (approx. 10%)
