Client Accountant

Job Description
Title: Client Accountant / Contable
Location: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Language: Fluent in Spanish and English
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Accounting, reporting, and preparing and issuing invoices for several companies.
• Bank reconciliations, preparation and submission of tax returns and SII, and preparation and review of annual accounts.
• Preparing all types of accounts, payments, cash flow, reports, financial statements, cash position, and tax position for client companies.
• Preparing regulatory reports for third parties.
• Bookkeeping, including accounting entries and related supporting documentation.
• Assisting with audits by providing relevant information.
• Obtaining accounting data for tax filings and preparing tax submission files for the STA.
• Supporting clients with financial reporting, such as periodic balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and annual accounts.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• Minimum of 2-3 years' professional experience in a similar role, preferably within a multi-client environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong command of English (B2/C1 level) to communicate fluently with clients.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
• A proactive approach to daily tasks and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• An interest in working with different cultures.
