About the Department

The Data Insights Team within the Data & Analytics department is dedicated to standardising reporting processes, establishing best practices, and contributing to the development of a Centre of Excellence that enables scalable, high-quality analytics across the organization.

About the Role

We’re looking for a data-driven and collaborative individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning data into actionable insights, with a strong foundation in Power BI, SQL, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality analytics that support strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver analytical projects aligned with business priorities, using Power BI, SQL, and DAX to generate actionable insights.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and data models, translating findings into clear narratives and visualisations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, shape technical solutions, and communicate outcomes effectively.

  • Ensure outputs meet data governance standards, promote responsible data use, and support documentation of data assets.

  • Contribute to a high-performing team by sharing knowledge, adopting best practices in coding and data storytelling, and exploring emerging technologies like AI.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards and data models.

  • Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and/or Python for solving business problems.

  • Solid understanding of data architecture and modelling principles.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and cloud-based data platforms (desirable).

  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
