Rockstar is on the lookout for a passionate Development Support team member who is highly organised and enthusiastic about supporting game development teams.

This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s unique game development studio in the heart of Dundee, Scotland.

WHAT WE DO
  • The Rockstar Games Information Systems team create and maintain production software tools that are used by all game development disciplines to support the
    creation of all Rockstar Games projects.
  • The tools we build range from task management software, defect trackers with games console integration, distributed video recording systems, reporting and analytics
    applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help users with any issues they are facing with our production tools and systems.
  • Manage our communication channels and promptly respond to our users.
  • Provide admin support such as granting project access and permissions.
  • Generate reports for management as required.
  • Assist users with reporting, helping them to create and optimise reports.
  • Use 3rd party tools and run scripts to set up and maintain projects.
  • Document our support and approval processes and adhere to them.
REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Personable, confident and have excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Competent using Microsoft Windows and production software like Excel.

PLUSES

Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.

  • Experience using REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience using SQL.
  • Experience with production tools like JIRA and TestRail.
  • Interest in video games, particularly by Rockstar.
