Your new role

As a Director within our Structuring Team you will work with the Corporate Origination team, the Distribution team, the Client Implementation team and all other members of the Structuring team to support the origination, the distribution and lead in an autonomous way the execution of factoring and invoice discounting transactions. You will support and advise the clients in accordance with the services agreed with the client.

What you’ll do

In full cooperation with the Corporate Origination Team and the Distribution team, in relation to factoring and invoice discounting transactions, primary duties include:

Prior to transaction mandate:

  • Provide support to the Corporate Origination Team to enable them to make factoring / invoice discounting offers to clients that can be delivered in a timely fashion with a high level of quality;

  • Request, collect and analyse all information received with support of the Structuring & Execution Team in order to generate or review high quality documents for the clients and prospective funders (teasers, Q&As, presentations, …);

  • Prepare or review deal memos, pricing and engagement letters;

Upon transaction mandate, lead the transaction execution:

  • Facilitate the execution of the transaction and the understanding between funders, corporates and any other party (KBI, credit insurer, lawyers)

  • Analysis of portfolio and corporate information received,

  • Review of legal documentation and provide advice to the Client,

  • Work with the project manager and the Client Implementation team to ensure that all operational and reporting obligations are in place in accordance with the timeline,

Post execution, support any development opportunities and issue resolutions:

  • Provide clear oral or written opinion to them and Senior Management;

Ongoing tasks:

  • Disseminate factoring and invoice discounting knowledge and market news among the Structuring & Distribution team, the Origination Team and the rest of the business and the FIS Group;

  • Maximise revenues for Demica by identifying profitable transaction opportunities;

  • Generate transaction opportunities in coordination with the Corporate Origination team;

  • Attend conferences in connections with Factoring and Invoice Discounting;

  • Assist the Head of Structuring & Distribution on specifically designated projects

Who you are

We are looking for someone with:

  • Deep expertise leading the execution of receivables finance transactions. As a guide a Director in the Structuring team typically has 10+ years relevant experience

  • Knowledge of different factoring, invoice discounting and credit insurance solutions;

  • Experience in financial modelling and data management;

  • Very good presentational skills and capacity to generate highly professional documents.

  • Evidence of working in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment;

You will be a great fit for the role if in addition to the above you have:

  • Experience leading the execution of cross-border factoring or invoice discounting transactions;

  • Advisory experience;

  • Fluency in second European language.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, finance or business administration;

  • Master’s degree in finance, business administration or CFA charter will be considered positively.
