Team/Role Overview

You will be part of the middle office operations team providing performance and risk and attribution analysis for a key UK client. The role will work in partnership with the offshore partners to support the deliveries to all clients. Client relationship is key and at the heart of what we do and you will be a key point of contact for client queries, deliveries and attend regular service meetings.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the oversight of the seamless production and delivery of the of performance reporting deliveries to a key client in line with defined service level agreements
  • Evaluating risk and controls, including operational impact of client and legislation changes, ensure compliance to established controls.
  • Overseeing production, reviewing and validating portfolio account performance calculations and performance reports with managers, including attribution, ex-post and ex-ante risk.
  • Creating customized reporting based on clients’ requirements; maintain, produce and review client composites according to SLAs and GIPS standards
  • Allocating responsibilities to offshore teams and maintaining the optimal team structure to service clients efficiently
  • Ensuring consistent operating model across all global deliverables to drive scalability and operational efficiency
  • Developing strong working relationships and communications with offshore partners, other operational teams and key stakeholder
  • Reviewing, updating and implementing new processes and operating manuals as required, to enhance operational controls

What we will need from you:

  • Experience in performance measurement within operations or experience with account/security level performance in a related field
  • Good knowledge of operational activities impacting on performance, accounting processes are an advantage
  • Familiarity with Segment, Security and Attribution Performance Reporting
  • Understanding of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
  • Performance System Experience – FactSet/StatPro /Morningstar/Aladdin
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem Solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and delegate effectively
  • Deliver High quality output within tight deadlines while maintaining total accuracy
