We are thrilled to go to market for the search of our new Equipment Engineer to work with a number of our Water Treatment and Food & Beverage customers across the lower Midlands and Southwest UK regions.   

 

As an Equipment Engineer, you will join our team of specialists.  You will be responsible for carrying out installation and commissioning of new equipment, planned/scheduled maintenance checks as well as responding to emergency breakdowns.

 

As an Equipment Engineer, you will be based from home where you will receive engineering appointments from our Service Coordinators.  You will manage your own diary to ensure appointments are full filled in a timely manner to ensure completion, which will require strong time management skills.

 

About you

 

You’ll be an experienced, multi-skilled Field Service Engineer, which a strong background in the fault finding and repair of Mechanical, Electrical and Automated/PLC driven equipment.  Your experience will have ideally been gained working in manufacturing/production environments.

The ideal candidate will need strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. You will to be highly organised with the ability to work under own initiative. You will be computer literate, be willing to travel between customer sites and live within a commutable distance of lower midlands and the Northampton region.

 

What you'll bring:

·       HNC or ONC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

·       Experience of working in Food & Beverage, Water Treatment, or a manufacturing environment

·       PLC fault finding experience preferred.

·       Proven problem solving and troubleshooting ability in engineering.

·       Automation and Project Management skills an advantage.

·       A clean driving license.
