Sitting at the heart of New Product Development and Innovation, this role ensures the consumer voice is embedded at every stage-from early opportunity identification through to concept development, optimisation, and go-to-market.
You'll partner closely with Product Development, Design, and Marketing teams to turn insight into action-helping create products that genuinely improve everyday life. This is an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where ownership, curiosity, and impact are highly valued.
What You'll Do
You'll lead and deliver impactful consumer research that informs innovation and drives business decisions. This includes:
  • Designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research to uncover consumer needs, behaviours, and whitespace opportunities
  • Developing research tools such as surveys, discussion guides, stimuli, and interview frameworks with strong methodological rigor
  • Conducting 1:1 interviews (in-home, virtual, and phone), with opportunities to moderate focus groups as you grow
  • Managing stakeholders and external research agencies, ensuring projects are delivered on time with clear communication of timelines and risks
  • Translating complex data into clear, compelling insights, recommendations, and business implications
  • Identifying emerging trends and connecting consumer insights to broader cultural and category shifts
  • Acting as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, contributing to planning sessions, workshops, and key decision-making forums
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and strategic focus
  • Championing the consumer voice across the organisation to ensure insights are understood and acted upon
What You'll Bring
You're a strong analytical thinker with a passion for understanding consumers and turning insights into action. You'll bring:
  • A solid foundation in both qualitative and quantitative consumer research methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise data into clear insights and implications
  • Experience creating engaging, persuasive reports and presentations that influence decisions
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, particularly within early-stage innovation
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset when navigating challenges or incomplete information
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and accountability, with a track record of delivering high-quality work independently
  • The ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a genuine interest in consumer behaviour

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • 2-5 years' experience in consumer research (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Experience in CPG, consumer durables, or product-led businesses preferred
  • Hands-on experience conducting 1:1 interviews; exposure to or readiness to moderate focus groups
  • Experience working with research agencies and cross-functional teams
  • A second European language (German, French, Spanish, or Italian) is a plus
