The Global Event Marketing team supports the firm in delivering industry-leading experience-led events that drive commercial and reputational results. The team collaborates with stakeholders across the business to curate events guided by strategic priorities, tailored to target audiences, and executed with excellence. The team ensures consistent, high-quality delivery of event experiences firmwide.
Role and Impact:
The Global Event Marketing Associate will play a key role in designing and delivering strategic events across EMEA. This individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand commercial objectives and translate them into compelling, experience-led event strategies. The role directly contributes to BlackRock’s brand, reputation, and commercial outcomes by executing high-impact events and driving best-in-class attendee experiences.
Responsibilities:
Manage, support, and deliver a variety of mid- to high-complexity events throughout EMEA—from pre-event amplification through post-event follow-up.
Coordinate event workstreams including content development, creative/experiential activations, project management, registration, communications, venue management, and budget oversight.
Partner with business collaborators to develop strategic Event Briefs rooted in commercial priorities and informed audience insights.
Drive end-to-end event execution to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, brand standards, and budget requirements.
Review the performance of events and coordinate Event Debriefs to measure the event’s effect on brand and reputational achievements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal partners such as Multimedia, Global Creative, Content, Digital for Events, and Facilities.

Strong project and event management capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams.
Strategic problem solver with the ability to connect business priorities to experience-led event design.
Skilled collaborator who can lead and influence cross-functional teams across regions and time zones.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem solver with high energy, initiative, and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment and adapt quickly to change.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Event Marketing, Brand, Experiential Activations, or related fields.
Experience managing or supporting complex events and working with senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event technology platforms such as Cvent.
Willingness to travel for in-person event delivery (approximately 50%).
Preferred: Experience within financial services or similarly complex global organizations.
Preferred: Fluency in a second language, ideally a European language (e.g., Italian or Spanish), is considered an asset
