Develop, implement, and optimize plans for products/solutions and initiatives. Optimize promotional mix across various marketing channels.

Optimize marketing strategies, implement promotions, and evaluate program performance. The Global MarCom Manager brings communication expertise, manages project budgets, and aligns with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan coordinated marketing campaigns to support the promotion of products, services, vertical markets, capabilities, and solutions.
  • Develop marketing communications programs for assigned vertical/product lines and projects.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing Managers and communication (social, digital, compose) teams to develop effective tactics to achieve AOP.
  • Implement and lead campaigns throughout the year to ensure tactics are initiated and completed on target and within budget.
  • Collaborate with analytics team to assess and report efficiency of campaigns, tracking program success in terms of contact list building, nurturing, and qualified leads.
  • Coordinate with other groups within CMD (and outside division) to ensure promotions present a unified Thermo Scientific CMD brand.
  • Maintain knowledge of systems and tools for effective project management such as Quickbase and WorkFront to forecast and maintain budget and timelines.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing for flawless transition of field marketing activities to align with global campaigns.
  • Demonstrate outstanding copywriting and editing skills, working across media, from print to digital, ensuring content is reviewed and approved by Regulatory and Legal teams.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing or marketing agency preferred.
  • Experience in promotional copywriting.
  • Ability to lead or facilitate the creative process from concept to execution.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet project goals in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated project planning skills.
  • High level of intensity and comfort with change.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, domestically or internationally.
  • Digital marketing experience.
