Global Product Marketing Manager

Location: UK or Europe, homebased or Milton Keynes based

About the role

Our Product Certification team within Regulatory services is looking for a Global Product Marketing Manager, who will drive an effective communications and content production strategy by creatively integrating regulatory and technical updates into compelling client communications and innovative marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead collaboration with product testing and certification teams to develop a predictive timeline of regulatory changes, certification updates, and standards and testing protocol modifications, complete with probability assessments. This foresight enables proactive planning and ensures these critical updates are seamlessly integrated into compliance communications and broader commercial marketing plans.
  • Create/ direct the creation of campaign content such as blogs, whitepapers, infographics, social media content and sales enablement tools for use of global/ regional/ country marketing teams. 
  • Manage external communications by creating and distributing communications that meet compliance requirements and highlight product benefits to clients as appropriate, showcasing BSI’s innovative edge and value as a partner in progress; developing ‘focus campaigns’ in an agile fashion; ensuring that adequate research and guidance is identified and shared with go-to-market teams to produce effective campaigns; leading the management and communication efforts for certification and regulatory transitions and changes.
  • Manage internal communications by developing sales-enablement materials; collaborating with internal communications teams to ensure critical updates are disseminated swiftly and effectively; keeping internal stakeholders well-informed of regulatory and technical developments by making relevant information readily accessible.
  • Build and maintain relationships through fostering and maintaining strong professional relationships with key internal stakeholders across various BSI divisions, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.
  • Assist with other marketing and communications activities as and when required.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Proven track record of writing commercial and technical copy for marketing & PR material.
  • Demonstrated experience in B2B communications-focused roles.
  • Graduate degree (2:1 or higher) in PR, English Language, or a related field, or a degree in another field with demonstrable experience in a similar role. Desirable Project management qualification (such as Prince2 Practitioner) / certification in digital marketing or communications.
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English, other languages advantageous.
