The Opportunity

This position works out of our Wiesbaden-Delkenheim location at Abbott GmbH. The duration of the internship is 1 year.

Abbott is seeking a dynamic, self-starter intern to assist marketing efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing and communications across multi-disciplinary functions.

Key Tasks

  • Create and manage the internal newsletter

  • Consolidate data for monthly business reviews and all-employee meetings

  • Assist in creating a quarterly external newsletter

  • Help design and prodice materials for congreeses and events using InDesign

  • Support the CRDx Academy Middle East

  • Develope, adapt and validate internal and external presentations

  • Assist with branding approvals

  • Contribute to the women's health social media project

  • Create collateral materials and support social media activations

Education and Qualifications:

  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations)

  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus.

  • Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Good understanding of digital channels (web, social, advertising)

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop highly desired.

  • Knowledge of HTML is a plus.

  • An effective communicator, both written and oral in English

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner.

  • Resourceful, Self-motivated, eager learner, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
