JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB PURPOSE:

Positioning “One Abbott” as a thought leader across all out clinic GI therapy touchpoints, build customized education program properties across core GI specialties (Gastros, Surgeons, CPs   for therapy shaping)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and build HCP properties for Abbott in GI therapy space. These properties need to customized based on existing need gaps / Insights which differ from Specilaty and the HCP seniority.

Responsible to drive any common GI education programs ( HCP talks, paper presentations etc) at National conferences like API, ISGCON, Surgeon conferences

Creating partnerships with external vendors for hands on and skill building workshops for core specialty like Gastros, Surgeons etc.

Representing Abbott’s BU across core GI conferences – National and Regional.

Continuously scan for ideas / best practices that builds Abbott’s image as a GI thought leader & latest updates

Conduct an annual dipstick with HCPs to evaluate the impact and scope of improvement for all our properties.

Ensure Medical / Regulatory / Legal & PA compliance

Handle audit compliances for deliverables on activations

Key Behavioral Competencies Required :

The candidate should be passionate, have a deep understanding of GI therapies, collaborative team player, and paves the way to shape this role Strategically by understanding GI Bus needs

Already has strong connect with Gastros / Surgeons / Physicians

Experience: Experience of 7-8 years of Marketing experience with GI therapies. Medical background like Medical advisor will be an added advantage.

BSC / Bpharm + MBA. MBBS degree will be an added advantage

 Technical Knowledge / Skills Required:

Good KOL connect, Sound therapy understanding, ability to work collaboratively across functional teams and peers, curious and keenness to scan new opportunities.
