Job title: IT Transformation Manager (Internal job title: EU Digital Head).

Time: Full‑time (40 hours/week).

What You'll Be Doing

As the EU Digital Head, you will be driving digital transformation across GenScript’s European operations. This position serves as the strategic and operational bridge between global digital initiatives and local execution, ensuring that enterprise platforms, AI solutions, and Cyberbiosecurity technologies are successfully adopted and deliver measurable business impact. The role combines technology enablement, ecosystem building, and thought leadership, requiring a visionary expert who can influence stakeholders, forge strategic partnerships, and navigate complex regulatory landscapes such as GDPR and emerging AI governance frameworks. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Driving Digital Enablement & Solution Execution

  • Act as the primary digital interface for all business units at the European site, gaining a deep understanding of local business pain points and regional characteristics.
  • Execute the Glocalization strategy by promoting and implementing the group's digital products and solutions locally. Enhance business efficiency through professional user services and in-depth digital operations.
  • Identify and provide feedback on European industry technology trends, driving the continuous optimization and iteration of the global product portfolio.

2.    Building Tech Ecosystems & Strategic Alliances

  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships with top-tier European tech companies, startups, and research institutions.
  • Lead negotiations on technology collaborations to bring in cutting-edge capabilities and strengthen the group’s global tech footprint.
  • Design sustainable, mutually beneficial partnership models that elevate the group’s technological reputation and influence in EU.

3.    Evangelizing AI & Cyberbiosecurity Technologies

  • Serve as the face of the group’s AI and Cyberbiosecurity technologies in Europe - showcasing innovation to clients, partners, and industry bodies.
  • Drive ground-up implementation of AI solutions in real Europe business use cases, from pilot to scale, creating flagship references for broader adoption.
  • Build and operate a structured technology advocacy program to boost awareness, credibility, and adoption of the group’s frontier tech across EU.
What We Expect From You
  • Educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-15 years of professional experience in digital transformation, IT business partnering, technology enablement, or related roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with strong exposure to GDPR and EU data security practices.
  • Deep roots in European tech ecosystem, with proven success operating in complex multinational organizations and cross-cultural environments.
  • Near‑native proficiency in English and Mandarin, enabling seamless collaboration with China‑based stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer - skilled at “tech evangelism” and persuading key internal and external decision-makers.
  • Keen business-technology acumen with strong expertise in AI, Cyberbiosecurity, and other emerging tech trends and their commercial applications.
  • Highly self-driven, resilient, and culturally agile. You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and international settings.

Interview Process

  1. Online introductory call with our recruiter.
  2. Online interview with hiring manager.
  3. Rijswijk office tour, panel interview and presentation: meet other managers and stakeholders and present a short case or topic. Our recruiter will guide you through the process.
