Daily challenges
- Provide day-to-day support for Oracle databases.
- Understand and follow industry best practices and standards.
- Provide standardization and consistency across environments.
- Responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of Oracle instances for DXC customers.
- Monitoring, assigning and resolving incidents generated by our customer environments, implementing low profile changes that have been organized by the higher level of support.
- Processing the common mailbox, communicating with the higher level of support in order to resolve more complex issues.
eXperience and skills required
- University degree or past experience will be considered a plus.
- Basic understanding of what Oracle Database is.
- Knowledge in administration of at least one of the following server systems: HP-UX, Linux, AIX, Solaris.
- Strong work ethics.
- Strong prioritization and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Service oriented behavior
- Fluency in English.
- Team Player.
These will be considered as a BIG аdvantage:
- Previous IT Experience
- Understanding of Linux
- Knowledge of Microsoft Apps – MS Office, O365, Outlook, Teams
