IQVIA is currently recruiting a Key Account Manager to work Bristol/ Somerset/ Devon and Cornwall in the field of cardiology promoting products for one of the world's largest multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.

This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to shape and direct the cardiology landscape for a product in its launch phase

Your role as a Key Account Manager:

  • Drive sales across the local health economy – engaging with all levels of key influencers and gaining positive formulary positioning and guidance for your products
  • Responsible for pathway development/ positive guidance
  • Be completely accountable for, and take ownership of, your sales across your territory
  • Provide a high-quality commercial approach to maximise any investment by using successful negotiation and resource management.
  • Produce, agree and implement bespoke initiatives that enable access to the use of the products by NHS and private providers
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge of the defined therapy areas and NHS policies (both local and national) by proactively reviewing their current positions and providing solutions where appropriate to ensure the use of the products.
  • Liaise with both internal and external customers in a professional manner at all times.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager with:

  • A proven track record of success as a senior sales representative using a key account management approach within the pharmaceutical sales environment
  • Ideally pathway experience
  • Ideally cardiology experience
  • Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
  • ABPI
  • A high level of selling, business acumen and negotiating skills
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with all level of customers
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
