Weโ€™re looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team and lead strategic sales efforts across the South West (including Wales) and Midlands.

This hybrid role focuses on building strong partnerships within the NHS and secondary care settings - especially in respiratory, maternity, and mental health departments โ€” to support initiatives that improve health outcomes and grow our brand presence.

๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and market share targets across your territory.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS stakeholders, including ICBs, PCNs, and stop smoking services.
  • Lead initiatives that improve health outcomes and position our brand as the #1 smoking cessation product.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver seamless, impactful campaigns.
  • Translate national guidelines into local programmes and drive adoption.
  • In-field work is mostly for stand meeting, exhibition events and mid-large size hospital/stop smoking service meetings.
  • Project KPIs are activity and Rx sales related.

๐ŸŽฏ What Weโ€™re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Must reside within the South West, Wales, or Midlands.
  • Minimum 2 years working with NHS operational management. (Essential)
  • Ideally 5 years in pharmaceutical field sales. (Essential)
  • ABPI qualified. (Essential)

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to engage senior NHS decision-makers.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent planning and IT skills.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative, can-do attitude.

Education:

  • Degree-level education.
  • Experience in a commercially focused pharmaceutical sales role is highly desirable.
