 Job responsibilities

  • Lead and own end to end deliverables across the Research Platform

  • Architect and design solutions in a platform-first approach balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders

  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions

  • Champion engineering best practices and help us evolve our fast-moving agentic SDLC

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation

  • Operate with a product-first mindset using your experience and influence to execute effectively and efficiently

  • Contribute to the evolution of the team's technology strategy, evaluating emerging tools and frameworks to bring value to the technology stack

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven end to end autonomous ownership of complex engineering deliverables involving multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Hands-on experience across the full stack and a willingness to pick up anything required to move a project forward

  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Experience in architecting scalable and resilient applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex technical challenges independently

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working within Financial Services or regulated technology environments

  • An understanding of Financial Research

  • Experience of engineering delivery using an agentic SDLC

  • Ability to manage the risk and controls agenda across a technology portfolio
