Our product suite can adapt to the needs of diverse industries and use cases within one powerful platform, empowering ~245,000 customers worldwide to reimagine how work gets done, drive greater efficiency, and scale like never before.

With over 2,500 employees across the globe, we grow by prioritizing transparency and knowledge sharing. We care about the impact you make, not the hours you clock, so we encourage initiative, ownership, and fresh thinking. We back our people with flexible work, wellness and mental health support, and a work environment built on collaboration.

We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel to join our Product and Technology Legal team. This is our first product-focused legal role in the UK, working alongside our commercial legal colleagues in the region.

As part of the global Legal-Tech team, you’ll closely support our UK and EU development teams and advise on product counseling, governance, AI, data privacy, and technology regulation. You’ll collaborate with Product, R&D, Security, BI, and Sales to drive innovation while ensuring compliance in an evolving regulatory landscape.

This is a unique opportunity to scale monday.com’s governance strategy, and position the company at the forefront of technology, privacy, and regulatory compliance, contributing to our global strategy, risk management, and regulatory engagement.

  • Qualified to practice law in the UK
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally as inhouse product counsel in a technology company
  • Experience assisting global technology companies in launching new products and services, advising on AI, SaaS, data governance, and technology partnerships.
  • Deep knowledge of UK/EU regulatory frameworks (GDPR, AI Act, NIS2, etc.) and understanding of global digital, privacy, and AI developments
  • Strong ability to translate governance and regulatory trends into practical guidance
  • Strategic thinker with strong business judgment, ownership mentality, problem solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross functional teams in a global environment.

From traditional pubs and centuries-old universities to sleek shopping malls and glass-paneled office buildings, Edinburgh's architecture reflects its unique blend of history and modernity. But the fusion of past and future isn't just visible in its buildings; it's also shaping the city's economy. Named the United Kingdom's leading technology ecosystem outside of London, Edinburgh plays host to major global companies like Apple and Adobe, as well as a growing number of innovative startups in fields like cybersecurity, finance and healthcare.
