The Legal Counsel will provide legal advice on various matters, draft contracts, communicate with stakeholders, and collaborate with the legal team.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
We're looking for a proactive Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team; someone motivated to develop their skills and expertise and make a real impact on our business from day one. This role is a great opportunity to get a wide breadth of legal experience, tackling everything from large-scale global deals to essential, day-to-day legal tasks.
You'll be a key part of our team, helping us navigate a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of legal challenges.
As one of our lawyers, you'll:
- Provide clear, practical, and effective legal advice across a wide range of legal matters.
- Prioritise a varied workload and thrive under pressure, making quick, sound decisions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of contracts and legal documents.
- Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Work collaboratively with the legal team and other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Take ownership of tasks and actively chase to get things done, ensuring projects keep moving forward.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A UK-qualified solicitor
- Proactive and keen to develop their legal expertise across a wide range of practice areas.
- A team player who isn't afraid of the hard graft and is willing to tackle any task, no matter how big or small.
- An excellent communicator, with strong verbal and written skills.
- Organised and able to effectively prioritise a demanding workload.
- Motivated to work in a dynamic, in-house environment.
