The Senior PPC Manager will manage and strategize PPC, display, and paid social channels, oversee significant media budgets, and lead the team to achieve performance goals.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Simply Business is committed to growing its acquisition channels, and paid media is one of our largest and most successful areas. We’re looking for an experienced digital marketing leader to join us on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, driving the strategy and execution that underpins this success.
You’ll be reporting to the Head of Acquisition and will be the ultimate owner of the PPC, display (DV360), Demand Generation, and PMax, as well as paid social (Meta) channels. This is a key role where you can bring your expertise to a results-driven environment and truly influence the significant growth we've achieved over the years.
As our Senior PPC Manager, you’ll:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategy of our PPC, display, and paid social channels, owning key OKRs.
- Oversee our media campaigns (which include budgets over £5 million) and make sure activity is aligned with what matters most to our customers.
- Manage and collaborate closely with two team members and key stakeholders across data science, operations, product, and marketing.
- Own the overall responsibility for managing our bid management tools (SA360) and technology to facilitate PPC optimisation and activation.
- Work alongside product managers and customer insight teams to make sure our activity is perfectly implemented for our customers.
- Drive our testing schedule to boost performance, participate in exciting new beta opportunities, and keep us ahead of the competition.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Someone with demonstrable success running high-performing PPC accounts (preferably in B2B) and prior experience managing people.
- Experienced in executing high-performing display (DV360), demand generation, and PMax/paid social (Meta) campaigns.
- Familiar with managing external agency partners who deliver a portion of our paid social and display activity.
- Knowledgeable in using bid management tools (SA360) and automation technologies to drive efficiencies.
- A naturally innovative thinker who can look outside the box to gain a competitive edge.
- A flexible and tenacious leader with a strong focus on delivery and the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
(We know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don’t have to match all the bullet points above to be considered for this role.)
We encourage people of all different backgrounds and identities to apply. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you and do your very best work.
If you're ready to drive the future of our acquisition channels and make a real difference during this 12-month contract, apply today!
