Job Description

This role will be based out of our London office alongside our Europe and UK engineering and operations team. But could also be based in Tallinn or Budapest for the right profile. 

Your Mission:

In this role, you'll be working as part of the Europe and UK regional team. This role will focus on building and improving Wise payment rails in the Switzerland and Nordics region. You will work closely with the banking team to understand local payment schemes and work with engineering to build direct integrations with them. You will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators for our money movement infrastructure in the region. You will work on improving speed, lowering cost and reducing friction for customers when they move money in the region.

Your Role:

  • You‘ll own the efficiency and resilience of money movement rails in Switzerland and Nordics.

  • You‘ll identify key opportunities to enhance money movement infrastructure, helping customers move money instantly, with minimum costs and friction

  • You‘ll own the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the money movement product in the region.

  • You‘ll build a material roadmap that significantly improves the experience of moving money in and out of Wise in this region.

  • You‘ll work closely with banking partners, central banks and internal teams to establish direct access to payment schemes
