Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Product Manager with a broad knowledge of Private Banking and Wealth Management to join us. You will support clients by understanding their goals, and by applying your market expertise in tandem with your awareness of what technology can offer. You will play a pivotal role in the growth and standardisation of Avaloq’s product offering to clients by creating future-proof product strategy and delivering scalable solutions. 

  • Collaborate with clients using a personalised approach to gather and coordinate their requirements  
  • Translate technical requirements for Avaloq’s internal teams to build effective and regulation-compliant solutions 
  • Conduct analysis to ascertain gaps, regulatory requirements and areas that require further research 
  • Shape product strategies and roadmaps which are customer-centric and drive innovation  
  • Join forces with other internal and external specialists through Community Forums to share updates and augment Avaloq’s knowledge of market, product and regulatory changes.  

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Manager in a client-facing role 
  • Broad expertise across Private Banking and Wealth Management: operations, products, payments, trading, lending, corporate actions, rebalancing, onboarding, regulatory change and reporting etc. 
  • Utilise exceptional communication, collaboration skills and natural curiosity to reach solutions with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Maintain a relationship with financial bodies to keep up to date with market trends (e.g. FCA, HMRC, PRA, FPC, CISI, PSR) 
  • Ability to travel to client sites
