About the role

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for bridging the gap between the product, marketing, and sales teams at CitySwift. The role will focus on driving the success of CitySwift’s products by creating go-to-market strategies, developing compelling product positioning and messaging, and enabling the customer facing teams with the insights and tools they need to win in the market. 

Key responsibilities
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and customer success.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research to deeply understand our target market, customer personas, and competitive landscape. Use these insights to inform positioning and strategy.
  • Messaging & Positioning: Create clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that communicates the unique value propositions of our product. Ensure consistency across all sales and customer touchpoints.
  • Commercial Enablement: Develop sales collateral (e.g., product brochures, presentations, case studies) and provide training to the sales and customer facing teams on product positioning, messaging and competitive differentiation.
  • Customer Advocacy: Work with the partner management team to identify key advocates and develop case studies, testimonials, and user stories that highlight the success of our customers. Support the development of a customer community engagement strategy, customer workshops etc. 
  • Content Creation: Support Content Marketing with the creation of product-related content including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, videos, press, and product demos.
Key skills and experience
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in B2B software.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and owning positioning, messaging, and sales enablement efforts for a B2B software product. 
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to handle complex subjects comfortably.
  • Clear and confident written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a solid understanding and empathy for various roles and responsibilities within a B2B software business.
  • Commercially minded, with a focus on driving business results.
  • Curious and inquisitive, with a desire to deeply understand concepts and work autonomously.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, takes initiative to resolve issues independently.
  • Startup or scaleup experience.
Not required but nice to have
  • Experience marketing products or services with a strong data component and/or in the transport industry.
