Job Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Quality and Manufacturing Intern will focus on specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2025 Magna Strategy and Goals.
Scope of Projects:• IPCP audits and updates• Create standard operating procedure documents• Torque studies• Process Trial run assistance• Assist with daily root cause investigation and analysis• Update build information on assembly line reference forms• Follow Mafact improvement ideas and projects.• Time studies
Experience and General Skills Required:• General computer skills• Lean Manufacturing knowledge• Problem solving methods• General knowledge of assembly techniques and fasteners
Education Requirements:• The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial Engineering• Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program.
