We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Quality Manager to lead and champion our quality initiatives. Reporting to the UK Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that drives continuous improvement, enhances customer satisfaction, and ensures product and process excellence. This role will be pivotal in embedding a culture of quality throughout the organization and ensuring our products and services meet the highest standards.

Your Impact:

  • Spearhead quality initiatives and inspire your team to achieve new levels of performance in delivering top-tier products.

  • Develop and empower a team of Quality leaders, equipping them to proactively address customer feedback and drive impactful CAPA resolutions against key quality metrics.

  • Define and champion the technical quality roadmap, collaborating with regional teams to implement improvements that directly impact key operational metrics.

  • Orchestrate operational product and process enhancements through the strategic application of continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Model and cultivate the Plexus Core Values within your team, fostering a culture of growth through targeted development and impactful coaching.

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong track record with a Bachelor’s degree and progressive experience in quality management or leadership within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven success navigating the complexities of a highly regulated industry (Aerospace, Defence, Space, Medical, Nuclear etc.).

  • A deep understanding and practical application of key QMS standards and regulations such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820.

  • A solid grasp of applicable industry standards (IPC, J-STD, APQP etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to assess, develop, and mentor quality professionals.

  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles and tools.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and cross-functional team-building skills.

  • A proven ability to lead effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
