Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Regulatory Risk Manager to support the scaling of our products within risk appetite. As a key part of our expanding global risk function, this role offers an opportunity to gain exposure to global regulatory and ensure Regulatory Risk is monitored and managed effectively across our markets.
Your Mission:
As our Group Regulatory Risk Manager, you will support the wider Risk team in ensuring we have timely, accurate, and insightful information on the regulatory risk profile of all our global entities, helping to support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the rest of the Regulatory Risk team in setting the Group Regulatory Risk approach and embedding this within Regional Risk and 1st Line of Defence risk owning teams
Partnering with our global first and second line compliance teams to identify, manage and monitor our regulatory risk profile
Attending Regulatory Risk Committees and ensuring effective, targeted discussion and concrete actions
Partnering with first and second line teams to ensure known issues are documented and have adequate remediation action plans and ownership in place. Reviewing issues and incidents to ensure that Regulatory Risk impact is appropriately identified and calibrated
Ensuring completeness and accuracy of our data, including launching our new Quality Assurance programme and finding automations and efficiencies to make this process smoother
Supporting development of control maturity across the organisation, including providing risk and control training where needed. Conducting reviews of regional regulatory controls and ensuring they are updated on the GRC tool as needed
Implementation of effective automation and integration of AI where appropriate in order to improve efficiency and accuracy
Collaborating effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure alignment, escalating where required
Taking on ad-hoc strategic or Group-wide projects
What You'll Bring:
Min 5 years of relevant experience working in a financial institution, fintech or consulting firm.
Can prioritise and re-prioritise in fast-moving situations
Able to think creatively when resolving problems to identify alternatives where established procedures may not exist
Comfortable with data and using basic analytics to identify commonalities, trends or anomalies
