We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close. You will work closely with prospects to understand their workforce management challenges, demonstrate the value of Deputy’s solutions, and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close.
- Consistently achieve and exceed quota by driving new business revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and multiple stakeholders within customer organisations.
- Run discovery calls using the MEDDPICC framework to understand customer challenges and requirements.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market dynamics to position yourself as an informed and trusted advisor to customers
- Partner with SDRs to ensure effective handover and conversion of qualified opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing to support campaigns and with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity management in CRM (Salesforce).
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product roadmap and GTM strategy.
Requirements
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in SaaS sales.
- Excellent consultative selling, listening, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage senior executives.
- Skilled at managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years closing mid-market/enterprise deals.
- Strong history of achieving (and ideally exceeding) annual quotas.
- Experience selling workforce management, HR tech, or related SaaS products preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
- Background in managing multi-threaded, consultative sales processes.
