JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Senior Global Employer Brand Specialist, you will play a vital strategic role within the Human Resources team to create awareness of the people and purpose fueling the organization - our mission, values, and unique global culture. This is an important job that will be responsible for using the defined employer brand to showcase the meaningful technical work our teams do every day. The best candidate for this job will be a natural storyteller who is able to easily understand others' perspectives and motivations. Our teams are creating a safer, more secure and sustainable world and in this role you will get the privilege of sharing those meaningful employee stories to help attract the right talent and grow the business.
In this role you will be responsible for expanding UL Solutions' existing employer brand through thoughtful social media campaigns focused on employee impact. This role will work with marketing, HR, Communications and business leaders to ensure the integrity, authenticity, and quality of external media showcasing our culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position works closely with cross-functional partners in marketing, human resources, IT and business leaders. In addition, you will:

  • Understand business needs, hiring strategy, general marketing processes and ensure external employer branding initiatives align to internal happenings.
  • Partner with an internal Creative Studio and an external marketing agency to create content and campaign execution for recruitment marketing initiatives. This includes employer brand campaigns, targeted recruitment marketing ads, social media campaigns, external recruitment events, an employee referral program, intern and campus programs, etc.
  • Clearly and effectively write creative and copy briefs and ensure content adheres to employer brand guidelines.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, tact, and ability to cultivate relationships.
  • Manage branding company job boards, hiring platforms and talent brand channels while ensuring localization and regional nuances. Skilled at responding to public employee feedback with empathy and integrity.
  • Engage with internal leaders and employees and empower them to share stories to showcase work location, environment, team and role impact.
  • Ensure variety of roles and diversity of employees is thoughtfully and effectively woven into UL's employer brand strategy. Collaborate with UL's business resource groups and sustainability team to develop campaigns, content and partnership opportunities.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 5 years in Marketing, Talent Acquisition or HR with significant experience focused specifically on employer branding or recruitment marketing
  • Deep knowledge of the general recruitment process and the ways that employer brand, social media and recruitment marketing can attract talent and impact the candidate and employee experience
  • Experience working on careers website content, recruitment videos, and employee photoshoots
  • Planning and maintaining content calendars for employer brand programs, cultural touchpoints, and events. Supply channel management with essential information for executing campaigns, ensuring that all details and reporting meet quality standards
  • Background working on global initiatives to ensure localization needs for different countries and regions are met and adhere to quality standards
  • Proven ability to execute on projects and initiatives to achieve desired results
  • Comfortable navigating and influencing at all levels of a global, matrixed organization
  • Data-driven thinking and mindset. Ability to tie marketing initiatives back to corporate and team strategy
  • Ability to create and present compelling communications and presentations
  • Ease in working with stakeholders across multiple regions and flexibility with occasional flex hours
  • Customer-centric mindset and approach
