Role Description

At Dropbox, Product Managers drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our evolving suite of products. We lead cross-functional teams toward shared goals, balancing user needs with business priorities to deliver meaningful value at scale.

As the Senior Product Manager for Admin Experience, you will play a critical role in evolving how IT admins, team leads, and organizational owners interact with Dropbox. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to deliver intelligent, intuitive experiences that help admins manage users, storage, and security with confidence. Your focus will be on deeply understanding the admin journey—from onboarding and provisioning to monitoring usage and enforcing policies. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, research, and data science to build and iterate on powerful, user-friendly storage management tools within the Admin Console. By translating customer pain points into actionable product requirements, you’ll prioritize improvements that drive clarity, efficiency, and trust.

You’ll define success through key product metrics, focusing on admin adoption, satisfaction, and measurable outcomes. As part of the broader storage management strategy, you’ll own and execute a product roadmap that balances near-term enhancements with long-term scalability. Along the way, you’ll communicate progress, trade-offs, and key learnings with clarity and precision to stakeholders and executive leadership.

We’re looking for someone who brings strong product sense, deep customer empathy, and a bias for thoughtful execution. You’ll work across Legal, Compliance, Security, and GTM functions to deliver secure, enterprise-grade admin experiences that help Dropbox scale with our customers.

In 2025, our mission is to empower organizations to manage content and collaboration with ease and clarity. The Admin Console is central to that vision—delivering powerful, reliable tools that help admins stay in control as their teams grow and evolve.

Responsibilities
  • Own a defined product area end-to-end - from discovery through delivery and iteration.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive smooth execution and on-time delivery.
  • Use data insights and customer feedback to inform product decisions and validate solutions.
  • Write clear, actionable product specs and make thoughtful, customer-centric trade-offs aligned with strategy.
  • Proactively identify risks and remove blockers to maintain momentum and focus.
  • Champion the voice of the admin, ensuring their needs shape planning and prioritization.
  • Iterate rapidly post-launch to ensure solutions continue to meet evolving customer needs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, productivity, or admin-facing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into impactful, user-centered solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong communicator with a track record of working effectively across engineering, design, and research.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and shape product direction.
  • Resourceful and scrappy—able to drive progress and validate ideas with limited resources.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities with clarity and focus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on admin-facing or B2B product areas.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives requiring alignment across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with SaaS products and business models, with a strong understanding of customer needs and dynamics.
  • Background in building productivity tools for B2C or B2B audiences, demonstrating strong user empathy and product intuition.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights from data, logs, and experiments to guide decision-making.
