The Role:

DailyPay is looking for a talented and motivated engineer with 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer or site reliability engineer. You will be a senior member and a technical leader of our Site Reliability Engineering team. You will own challenging problems, be a key contributor to the team's architecture & designs, lead the way during development and be an advocate for operational and engineering excellence.

Our team primarily uses Go, Terraform, AWS and DataDog.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • You will be a key contributor to our SRE team

  • You will tackle a wide variety of technical problems, providing solutions and tooling to

    product development teams enabling them to monitor and improve their systems

  • You will provide advice and support to product development teams, being an advocate

    for operational and engineering excellence

  • You will mentor and guide junior SREs as they develop their skills

What You Bring to The Team:
  • 5+ years experience designing, developing and scaling complex services.
    Strong coding skills (ideally in Go, but any modern language will do if you are willing to

    learn Go).

  • Ability to write well-structured, easily maintainable and well-documented code that

    balances beauty and pragmatism.

  • Strong track record of successfully delivering software projects.

  • An interest in operational and engineering excellence

  • Experience with observability and monitoring (preferred but not essential)
