About the Role:

We're looking for someone who thrives on creating thoughtful, end-to-end user experiences that seamlessly blend function and form. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions that make complex technologies simple and delightful. The Senior UX Designer role will help drive the overall design and user experience of our products by partnering with engineers and product managers. You will be a foundational member of the design team, helping to guide the design team on vision, build processes, and drive strategy. 

The role will also partner with key strategic stakeholders of the company, including Product and Engineering leaders to bring them along and solicit feedback as thought partners for affecting company-wide product directions.

You Will:

  • Gather product requirements and lead the design process from ideation to polished user experiences
  • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, and product managers to create high-quality prototypes and contribute code to raise product fit and finish
  • Evolve the internal design system, ensuring a high level of craft and consistency
  • Do quantitative and qualitative user research to inform product and design decisions
  • Mentor and support cross-functional stakeholders to foster product quality
  • Work on products that are used by thousands of customers and users on a daily basis

You Have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in UX design, ideally designing for complex, technical SAAS products such as developer tools
  • An intermediate level of front-end development knowledge. This is for building prototypes and contributing code for fit and finish  
  • Experience using Figma or AI design tools
  • Experience doing quantitative and qualitative user research
  • Experience collaborating closely with marketing, engineering, and product teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced distributed teams

U.S. base salary range for this role is $141,000 - $210,000 (CA, NY, WA) and  $135,000 - $201,000 (other US locations). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary. Your talent partner will share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
