The Unified Communications (UC) Support Specialist plays a vital role in keeping the organisation connected and collaborating smoothly. As the first point of contact for UC needs, you’ll support the tools and technologies that keep our teams communicating - meeting room systems, collaboration platforms, conferencing tools, and AV equipment. You’ll provide both on‑site and remote assistance for live meetings and high‑visibility events, ensuring everything runs flawlessly through real‑time coordination and rapid, confident troubleshooting.
This is a highly service‑focused role where your interpersonal skills, technical awareness, and calm approach under pressure will make you a trusted partner across the business.

Deliver exceptional, reliable support by resolving issues quickly, communicating clearly with users at all levels, and maintaining professionalism at all times. You’ll keep documentation accurate, ensure equipment is always event‑ready, and play a key role in the smooth delivery of executive and high‑impact meetings. Through consistency, proactive problem‑solving, and smart prioritisation, you’ll help build a dependable, solutions‑driven UC function - while contributing positively to a collaborative, supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide escalated support for UC tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex.
  • Monitor and maintain conference room systems including cameras, mics, displays, and software updates.
  • Perform daily room readiness checks to ensure all spaces are fully functional by business hours.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and AV malfunctions on-site and engage vendor as needed.
  • Assist during live events and executive meetings with white-glove support.
  • Create and update knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and quick-reference materials.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes by provisioning and deactivating UC accounts.
  • Log and track service requests using ticketing platforms.
  • Provide support for large UC projects such as upgrades and software patching
  • Manage UC equipment inventory
  • Work closely with facilities, IT, internal stakeholders and external vendors on installations and repairs.
  • Assist in managing administrative portals for Unified Communications software, ensuring secure access, accurate configuration, and smooth operation across all UC platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • UC Platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex
  • Room hardware: Logitech, Poly, Neat, QSC, Extron
  • Ticketing systems: ServiceNow, Jira, SolarWinds or equivalent
  • Office tools: Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal, troubleshooting, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and general staff

This position is onsite based in Edinburgh, UK

You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
