Job Advert Title – VP Finance – Capability Transformation

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working location: Derby

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VP Finance – Capability Transformation Manager to join our Finance transformation transition team.   As part of our Winning Together programme, we are embarking on a major transformation initiative within Group Procurement and are seeking a dynamic Finance leader to help lead this pivotal project.

The programme has senior sponsorship and full commitment of the Purchasing leadership team, and such provides a unique opportunity to engage with senior leaders of our organisation.  Work with us and we’ll welcome you into an inclusive culture, one that invests in your continuous learning and development, and gives you access to a wide breadth and depth of experience.

This role requires someone who thinks and plans ahead with a strong background in change management, and stakeholder engagement.  The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of managing complex projects within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the Procurement strategic transformation programme through close collaboration with the Global Procurement Transformation Team

  • Act as the process and system design architect for the Finance interface in Procurement and future ET&S transformation programmes.

  • Develop business cases, investment plans and deliver system integration across Procurement.

  • Structure Data mapping to ensure global procurement consolidation,

  • Define and establish the consolidation activity required to ensure that we have a single version of the truth for ‘total Procurement spend’ across the Enterprise, linking key data sets together to support the performance reviews.

  • Lead on planning simplification activity across Procurement Finance.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to align project goals with business objectives.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant with proven experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and its relationship to executive financial and non-financial reporting systems.

  • Strong working knowledge of Procurement reporting systems such as CRISP, Work Booking, SAP, HFM and VBM are required.

  • Experience of leading multi-functional teams is essential.

  • Demonstrable change management skills and an ability to engage with others on complex system and process changes.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
