Role Description 

As a Web Developer, you’ll be able to create great work by yourself across a wide range of projects (from full-site builds to creative campaigns) as well as taking on an active role within the team, sharing and inspiring them to new challenges.

You will have high standards and the ability to work with everyone to ensure they are maintained, whilst always pushing our abilities to create the best work for our clients.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create well-structured and creative front-end mark-up.
  • Set up, effectively configure, and maintain Drupal websites for our clients
  • Contribute fresh creative ideas and technical direction recommendations for new clients.
  • Interpret client briefs to help deliver technical specifications or guidance for new website projects.
  • Provide accurate timescales on new development tasks.
  • Take part in ‘peer reviews’, offering constructive feedback on colleagues’ work as well as receiving it

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • A love of innovation with enthusiasm and initiative
  • A desire to always be learning and impart knowledge to others
  • A keen interest in the latest industry trends and frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and Sass/LESS
  • Experience with task automation (eg. Grunt, Gulp)
  • Experience developing with Drupal platform
  • Ideally some experience developing with the Wordpress platform, but this isn’t a requirement
  • Awareness of version control services (eg. GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • A portfolio or links that showcasing some of your development
