The Operational Excellence Implementation Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting Lean transformation and process improvement initiatives across Clean Air sites. The role focuses on building Lean capability, driving efficiency, reducing waste, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires 30–50% travel across multiple locations.
The role:
As an Operational Excellence Implementation Specialist, you will help drive our goals by:
- Leading Lean transformation projects to improve efficiency and standardization.
- Facilitating Kaizen events, 5S, and Lean workshops to engage teams and drive improvements.
- Conducting process assessments and value stream mapping to identify improvement opportunities.
- Training and coaching employees on Lean principles, tools, and best practices.
- Supporting the execution of Operational Excellence (OPEX) projects from planning to completion.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale Lean tools across the business.
- Using data analysis to measure Lean implementation effectiveness and identify trends.
Our Expectations:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Lean implementation, process improvement, or operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, VSM, PDCA, Standard Work).
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in managing multiple projects across different sites.
- Excellent communication and change management skills.
